On Wednesday evenings we gather as an assembly to pray and study the Bible. Prayer has always been an important activity of the local church. In many ways, prayer is the heart of a gathering of believers as it demonstrates our need to depend completely on God. 

This vital time of prayer promotes unity, strengthens us spiritually, and focuses our attention on the needs of others. We are God's children and He wants to hear from us. Philippians 4:6 After a time of prayer, the Bible study is opened by a local brother who provides an overview of the passage under consideration. We then discuss the passage as a group to learn what God has said to us in His Word.

There are many benefits to a conversational Bible study. Rather than one man teaching from the Bible, all the men are encouraged to participate, asking questions, offering insights, and generally discussing the meaning of the passages.

During the school year, there is also a class available for youth age 12+, with an age appropriate Bible lesson taught. Plan to join us!

The purpose of the Bible study is to establish the Christian in the truth of the Word of God, and to gain instruction that will help us in our daily lives.
